We are Theatre of the 7 Directions (T7D), a non-profit eco-theatre organisation offering transformation through the performing arts. Our courses invite people from all backgrounds to deepen their sense of belonging and strengthen community consciousness, where community includes humans and the rest of nature.

Through movement, voice, and story, you will reconnect with yourself and the living world around you. Our ecotheatre experiences are held in close relationship with the land, one of the most stunning areas of Scotland, creating immersive spaces to explore who you are, how you feel, and how you want to show up in your community and in the world.
Each journey rests on three core principles: self-discovery, connection with nature, and community-building. You do not need previous theatre experience, just curiosity, a willingness to play, and an openness to being changed by the encounter with others and the more-than-human world.

QUOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
The trees have roots, and so do we. Our roots are our stories - the experiences, memories, and dreams that shape who we are and how we stand in the world. When we tend to these stories with care, courage, and imagination, we feed the deeper soil of our shared future. The future of the world depends on the stories we choose to tell, embody, and pass on. - Laura Pasetti, Founder & Artistic Director

Ecotheatre Experience (Adults)
DATE: 22nd - 26th June, 2026
A 5-day immersive ecotheatre journey to befriend a “non-human companion”, a tree, a stone, the sea, the wind and explore your relationship with the natural world through movement, voice, and improvisation. DATE: 30th July - 9th August 2026
A playful, supportive summer camp where teens explore climate, identity, and friendship through theatre games, storytelling, and creative time in nature. Across 10 full on days, participants co-create a performance, build confidence on and off stage, and discover how the performing arts can become a powerful way to express care for themselves, others, and the planet.

A Procession on the Land:
Ecotheatre Experience (Adults)
DATE: 31st Aug - 4th September
A 5-day ecotheatre experience culminating in a ritual procession on the land, co-created with the group in dialogue with the surrounding landscape.
